The AVR SX460 is now obsolete and replaced by the AVR AS440. The production of original Stamford AVR SX460 is definitely discontinued.
The SX460 is an analogue, 2-phase sensing, self-excited automatic voltage regulator (AVR). The AVR is linked with the main stator windings and the exciter field windings to provide closed loop control of the output voltage.
The SX460 is most commonly used on Stamford alternator UC range and are supplied as standard to the UC22 and UC27 alternators. -
Stamford Automatic Voltage Regulator - AVR MX321
The MX321 analogue, 3-phase sensing, permanent magnet generator (PMG) powered automatic voltage regulator (AVR) provides isolation from the effects of non-linear loads, improved motor starting performance and sustained short circuit current.

Leroy Somer Automatic Voltage Regulator - AVR R220
Leroy Somer AVR R220, for shunt alternators.

R220 is an analog AVR with power controled by transistors. It is designed for small alternators with a SHUNT excitation.
R220 controls the excitation current in order to maintain the output voltage of the alternator. R220 is performant in terms of voltage regulation, simple to set , to use and is reliable.
It is in compliance with I.E.C. 60034-1 standard and U.L. 508 / C.S.A. approved. -
Leroy Somer Automatic Voltage Regulator - AVR R250
Leroy Somer AVR R250, for shunt alternators.

R250 is an analog AVR with power controled by transistors. It is designed for small alternators with a SHUNT excitation.
